Soar from the
mountains top, swoop into the valley below, glide through massive tree
canopies, ascend through the waterfall's mist, and then gently land on a
treetop perch to catch your breath and survey the fantastic views. You are

At Foxfire
Mountain we believe a wilderness adventure should be wild, adventurous and
in keeping with nature and deeply, deeply satisfying. Our highly trained
park rangers will start you off with a brief safety lesson and a
beginner's sky bridge and zip line, and by the time you have completed the
3 hour canopy tour you will have experienced seven world class zip lines
over river gorges, noisy waterfalls, forest canopies, and of course our
heart throbbing 1550 foot zip line across Foxfire Mountain itself. When
finished you will shout with joy your sense of accomplishment and the
mountain will echo it beck--YES!...YES!...YES!..
A little rain
doesn't scare us off and many think it's more fun, (we even provide free
rain parkas), but in the case of thunder and lightning or excessive high
winds we will not all allow zipping for safety reasons and any money

Take a
leisurely hike along Dunn's Creek Gorge and through the forest with our
Foxfire Naturalist and learn about the plant and animal life in the Smoky
Mountains and hear the tribulations and tall tales of the early settlers
of Foxfire Mountain. This 90 minute easy hike will delight you with
wildflowers, beautiful vistas, and the natural history of the area.
We have left no
stone unturned when it comes to rustic elegance. Each secluded platform
tent, or tree house comes complete with a wood burning stove, comfy
rocking chairs, real comfy beds and a country breakfast on your private
deck over the river. Wilderness camping will never be the same.
Foxfire

these mountains in all their glory, character, and charm. Foxfire Mountain
is nestled in the shadow of the Great Smoky Mountains with over 150 acres
of rich forest, thundering waterfalls, pristine mountain creeks, and
historic farmland just waiting for you to join us for an adventure of a
lifetime. We offer Llama Trekking starting at 10am and 3pm daily, our
gentle llamas will carry your provisions along a two hour nature hike
through Foxfire Mountain's majestic forests, the original Pigeon Forge
iron mine, over iron mine falls and much, much more before you stop to
rest with a gourmet meal atop Lookout Point and then a leisurely walk back
to base camp. Also Off Road Segway Tours, if you want something a little
less strenuous, but just as adventuresome? Then take our unique off road
Segway tours through the forest, along the river and into the meadow and
